Territory, trust in you, as leader, requires dispensing justice, to your employees. Most important, is your character in all matters. Finally, the need to always treat your employees, not in groups, which you must have, with individual assignments, for campaigns. Develop a Code of Ethics, first, that protects and provides clarity and grievance to be handled, uniformally, for all employees. Finally, avoid socializing with employees outside of the business day. Understand human nature. Maintain super-majority stock ownership, at least sixty percent,to maintain control.

At the M.S. level, if a Capstone project, these generally involve several individuals, I let them tell me a little about their Capstone. If they took a thesis option, which they generally have submitted to our HR department and they schedule the times, I am last, on their one day of interviews, lunch provided in the cafeteria, the questions I ask are more intellectually in-depth and focused, since I have read their thesis, before their interview with me. PhD's, I generally meet with for at least two hours, covering background, areas of interest, publications, I have already read, technical skills, et. cetera. Friendly, but intense, focusing on their knowledge and understanding, verbally. I pose difficult technical questions to all, depending upon their degree level. Finally, I ask if there is anything they would like to ask me.
