Impressions Photography offers custom On Location Portrait Sessions for Families, Individuals, and Families with Pets. We can photograph your favorite location, in your own home, or in the studio. We also offer wedding coverage.
How We Got Started
Sheryl decided to pursue a career in photography when she was still in high school. She came up with the name of her business and business logo. She entered many images in the local fair and won many awards and a large trophy that she kept for one year (which had her name engraved on it). Sheryl majored in photography and received my formal training at the Art Institute of Seattle.

I did an On Location Family Portrait Session for a client of mine. Her mom came along to watch the session, with my client's children and their dog. Although her mom didn't plan to be in the portraits that day, I convinced her to sit in on a few of them. A few years later my client contacted me and let me know that her mom had passed shortly after their portraits were taken and said how meaningful they have been for her. She said the beautiful portraits always remind her of her mom and she is so happy to have them. Her daughter had always wanted me to do her senior portraits. I had the opportunity to photograph her daughter's senior portraits with her boyfriend a few years after their family portrait session.
