Susan has served her community through volunteering in lead positions at the Water Conservation Garden in El Cajon and for the YMCA of SanDiego County. Over 12 years Susan held positions on the East County Board of Advisers helping to manage three YMCA's - the La Mesa Davis YMCA, the Santee Camerson YMCA and the Rancho San Diego McGrath YMCA. Susan helped to open the McGrath YMCA taking on leadership roles in fund raising, event planning, board development and financial planning. In 2016 Susan joined the La Jolla YMCA Board of Advisers after having moved to La Jolla. She will serve as the Chair of the La Jolla Board of Advisers in 2018-2020. The YMCA is is fiscally responsible and a great steward of monies donated to this organization.
