Sahand Rostami
The Movement Engineer
Growing up as an overweight teenager with poor eating habits, I have been faced with trials and tribulations along the way. At age 16, I decided that I had enough and sought to change my lifestyle, losing over 40lbs in the process. It was at this point that I started as a group fitness instructor teaching Les Mills classes. I realized shortly after starting that I wanted to become a certified personal trainer so that I could help people achieve their individual health & fitness goals.
After a few years of personal training, I noticed that nagging injuries were getting in the way of clients doing the activities that they enjoy. At this point, I decided to expand my practice to address and prevent injuries so that I could better serve my clientele.
My specialties include NeuroKinetic Therapy®, corrective exercise, and sports performance as well as many others. As a kinesiologist my goal is to provide my clients with a safe and effective way to exercise, reduce pain and achieve their desired goals.
Over the years I have participated in many athletic events including various styles of martial arts and have even competed in collegiate track and field in the 400m & 4x400m relay. In my free time I love being active, expanding my education and spending time with my new wife and friends.
