My gallery placements increased significantly due to many more online shows. Sales remained flat but more folks saw my photographs - a definite plus!

As have several folks have also indicated, I am semi-retired and covered under Medicare. For most of my career I was a contractor or free-lanced, and didn't carry insurance. Lucky for me I never needed it, but that was just plain dumb. Support the ACA and/or get in a good plan.

UPDATE - In the interval since this post was made, the topic's thread has grown with a volume of exhortations predictable with lemming like certitude from what one would expect from the intellectually arid wastes of a MBA seminar table. Ah, yes, a business plan, a dynamic web presence, a sound understanding of technology resources -- all of Pandora's latest gifts to the US business community. Come on, people, Covid-19 has put us a step away from the Apocalypse, and you are wailing about business plans.

I have enjoyed Photography starting with a Kodak Brownie in 1948. Currently, I work with a mid-range Canon DSLR to which I have adapted an older Tokina/Pentax lens with a manually controlled aperture. I prefer this lens because of the glass, and not because of my age. Something you may be interested in knowing, however, is in the field I always carry my Android smartphone with a voice recorder app so that I can orally document my photographic subjects along with my frequently bracketed f-stops. Thus, the smartphone and Canon go hand-in-hand on all of my shoots!!!
