Robert L. Hoover, one of Santa Clara County's original pioneers of family law, founded the firm in 1960. When he opened his practice, family law cases were heard in the general civil court system. Through community outreach and networking with other legal practitioners, Bob helped to establish family law as a separate and important branch of the local court system.
