My career started as a ballet dancer in New York at American Ballet Theatre, where I received my basic dance training.
I was invited to a soloist position with the Stora Teatern Opera Ballet in Goteborg, Sweden. From there my European and Middle East dance career began.
Returning to my home in the Bay Area I danced with San Francisco Opera Ballet, Oakland Ballet, and Khadra International Folk Ensemble.
My dream was to capture the elusive moments of dance on film.
Heading off to photo school and hands on assisting with dance photo legend Marty Sohl I became proficient with studio and location photography and opened my own business and started photographing major dance companies and dance schools in California. Including business portraiture, weddings, studio and location shoots.
