I hear you! But I say ask women in their 60's who've been married over 40 years. You'll get the real low down from them. A child hood friend's sister said once "I love him but if anything were to happen to him I will NOT get married again." And it wasn't because she loved him so much that she didn't want to be with anyone else. She really loved him but she said she would not ever get married again. Fast forward years and years later, he died in car accident and she never remarried. I've heard many older women say they wouldn't get married again.
God bless the women who can put up with it. I love men but not enough to get married again or live with them. It's just not for me. But, again, God bless the women!
LOL! One boyfriend of long, long ago started leaving his stuff at my house. I said "oh, huh uh no no no, babe, take this stuff home with you." Put his stuff in a brown paper bag and handed it to him. He rolled his eyes at me BAHAHAHAA! Trying to move in on the sly. I wasn't going for it.
