Community Planet Foundation - This sustainable Community project is unlike any other—it actually has the potential to transform our planet and our lives on all levels. Because everything is interconnected, the age-old approach of trying to change all the imbalances and crises our planet faces by addressing them one at a time hasn't been working and cannot work. We must step outside the box to see the big picture—that the ultimate solution to all these challenges is the same solution: Evolution into sustainable Communities.
How We Got Started
A group of us met weekly for three years to create a template for how to truly create a world that works for everyone. That vision is described in our book, The Next Evolution: a Blueprint for Transform the Planet.

Most of the world has been doing some version of the everyone-for-themselves (E-F-T) paradigm, which has been unquestioned for thousands of years. With the crises now facing the planet, we now need to create a world that works for everyone, and that means we need to rethink the E-F-T system, which is incredibly wasteful and leaves in its wake the haves and the have-nots. If you have not already done so, educate yourselves on the wealth-poverty gap. To save our planet, we need to redefine wealth as use and access, and we need to see that separation is the causal factor in the crises facing the world. Let's move to the consciousness of the Highest Good For All Life and transform our planet.

Community Planet is a unique project whose purpose is to create just such a world through a living example of a sustainable Community which is governed by consensus and holds an intention of aligning with the highest good of all — an integrated solution replacing the piecemeal approach that has failed to solve the many challenges we face. While there are many intentional communities, what is different here is that we are proposing a model on a scale that would change everything.

One question I love to ask is "What is the key factor in sustainability?" It's interesting that most groups and people working on this issue don't get what the key is. The key is for people to have the consciousness of the Highest Good For All Life on the planet. If people have that consciousness, they will do whatever it takes to create sustainability. If any entity tries to just impose sustainability practices, many people and businesses will simply ignore them.
