Modern Domains is a commercial renovation and project management firm that proudly serves the East Coast. The company was established in 2000 by John E Shatraw, Jr., who began as a small residential contractor and has since amassed 25 years of construction experience. Our growth over the years has been based on integrity, trust and presenting a quality finished product. We are setting our sights on expanding into the Mid-West and West Coast as we continue to grow. Our staff of construction professionals represent more than 100 years of experience.

Modern Domains provides construction management services all throughout the East Coast. We have proudly managed projects for such businesses as Target, Cinnabon, Goodyear, McCafe, Gymboree, and Extended Stay America. We are currently a preferred vendor for Brookdale Senior Living Facility, having remodeled many of their buildings throughout the Northeast. One of our specialties is providing our services to Senior Living facilities.

Modern Domains has the right teams and revenue streams in place to ensure our projects run smoothly. In coordinating the logistics of construction renovation and remodeling for commercial buildings, we order and secure all materials and ensure all ‘trades’ personnel are top quality professionals, ready and able to complete each portion of the project on a pre-determined schedule. Our team is flexible, and is always happy to schedule work hours appropriately in order to meet the needs of the building employees and clients. We assign a supervisor to be on the site during all scheduled working hours, ensuring that each facility is handled with care. Our on-site supervisors maintain a safe environment, and work closely with the building managers to ensure the operation is running as smoothly as possible and that there is a solid and professional open line of communication. We keep our focus on quality control throughout the entire project and, as a result, have a record of small punch lists and an end product that both we as a company and those that we serve are proud of.

Modern Domains specializes in both exterior and interior remodels, renovations, and other projects. We pride ourselves in our craftsmanship. Our projects have ranged from a few thousand dollars up to several hundred thousand dollars. Our work is consistent for all projects, no matter what the size.
