Our nursing assistants and nurses can provide care to individuals in their own home or supplement care received in facilities and through hospice agencies. Whether you need assistance with personal care or with housework, laundry or errands, we can help! We also have a dedicated team that provides hospice support.
Let our "Angels" help you stay in your own home as long as you choose. Home care visits are scheduled for as little as one hour per day up to 24 hours per day as needed.
Lori Michael RN opened Lori’s Angels in May of 2004 after partnering with the Schuylkill County Office of Senior Services and the Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce to implement a grant program through Better Jobs Better Care to educate direct care staff and to begin a statewide coalition of direct care workers. The focus of this agency is to support our direct care staff so that they can provide the best care to our clients in Schuylkill County. A staunch advocate for direct care workers, Lori has worked for years with entities such as the PA Direct Care Worker Association, the Direct Care Alliance and others as an advocate for our workers. She continues to this day to lobby and advocate for better pay and benefits for direct care staff by meeting with legislators, department secretaries and deputy secretaries and hosting discussions among supports coordination entities, legislators and other officials to educate everyone on the challenges we face and what support we need in order to provide the best care for the most fragile of our adult citizens.
Lori’s Angels is the only agency in Schuylkill County that is family owned, rooted in Schuylkill County and that is managed by a Registered Nurse. We know Schuylkill County; we live in Schuylkill County; we are supportive of Schuylkill County.
