Small local shop in Old Town doing top quality window tinting, clear bra / invisible paint protection, "whole new color" vehicle wraps, custom vehicle graphics, and full color printed wraps for business. We serve dealerships, other auto businesses, and most newly the public in our new retail location.
How We Got Started
We are three professionals under one new roof in Old Town Scottsdale. Decades of experience between us and tens of thousands of cars worked on. Our motto is to get it right the first time and use a quality product that will last.

The most important pieces for our business, in order, have been 1) the look and feel is a fit, 2) the right content for our customers and search engines, 3) fast, not laggy.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way, your customers WANT you to solve their problems and restore their treasured items.
They aren't waiting for the hammer to fall (like you think they are), they are excited to hear I Can Fix It come out of your mouth.

Sure, some of them might not choose repair in the end, but if you are a true expert who can make it look like new and the accident never happened, they are hoping you will do that!
If you're getting a lot of tire kickers, re-evaluate your marketing and who you are reaching. Not everyone wants fancy expensive things (this applies to my business as well), and so we focus on the folks who do.
We rely on software that only runs on Windows and OSX machines, but I know other businesses who have made the switch and don't look back. Almost always they are technical people who are familiar with the command line.

I have a friend who owns a body shop and wrapped his company vehicles in a screaming lime green with his shop details on the side. He says he actually gets too many calls - a higher percentage of tire kickers, but that doesn't seem like a bad problem to have.
