About Us

With a 20 year film and TV career in Los Angeles, I bring expertise, customer service and my ears in ensuring quality product, at least as good as what I'm given and I will do what i can to improve your material. Whether it's straight duplication or cleaning audio or editing video, I love what i do and I'm here to help you get the most enjoyment out of your materials.

How We Got Started

Since I was a teenager I've made mix-tapes for friends and family. My knowledge of music expanded as did my understanding of recording and playback machines. At the studio I worked for, I was responsible for providing work tapes for editors on the mix stage as well as inserting mixed audio onto video masters when completed. Retired from the industry and relocated to Monterey, I noticed there was a need for the services I provide. I may have left the studio but the studio never left me!

(more) It seems only large corporations are making record profits during this pandemic while many small mom-n-pops are having to shutter or deal with severe limitations on their business. Small business is the lifeblood of a community and republicans have thus far given priority to forcing thru a radical supreme court pick than offering relief to millions of Americans. I'd like a government that works for ALL the people, not just a select few.

My business is not dependent on the government and is fairly pandemic-proof. I'm not in need of aid. However, I see huge problems with the food and entertainment industries who have not been able to return to normal workload in 7 mos. Congress is derelict in their duties, having turned their back... Start there.  who is your ideal client? who might benefit from it? if you're doing marketing/promotional videos take a dose of your own medicine and produce one for yourself and get it in front of those who might make use of it.  I'd say the big questions to answer are WHO is your customer and HOW are you reaching them?

Also, effective for me has actually been print advertising. An anomaly in this day and age but I use a popular paper, I get calls all the time. Depends on the business. It's important to get in front of the audience you want to get business from - you might benefit fairs and festivals. Important tho, is to have a viable website. Not only does that help with search but you look professional, like you know what you're doing. Terrible or non-existent websites kill prosperity.

Well, don't just drop stuff off....introduce yourself briefly by phone call with actual person or dropping by to speak to actual person and show them the magazine with brief description and ASK them if they can spare a quick five minutes or can we schedule a time that works better for a quick chat? Two is - "Yes, I'll give you a deal and this is what I require of you" it's usually a larger order or guarantee of repeat business. see answer #1. I'm good at what I do and giving you a quality product. If someone is cheaper than me, chances are one or both of those two things is compromised for it.
