Rates are always hard to determine. There are area differences that will make them different, my area may have a higher cost of living than your area So our prices will differ. How I would attempt to figure it out is. How long will the service take to complete. What is the cost and amount of materials needed to complete the service. How Many employees will I need to complete the service in that time frame. How much I pay my employees for that time frame. What ever other expenses I may have with that service. Then attempt to add some profit on top of that margin. So now do I charge by X amount of $ a Sq. Ft. or do I charge Hourly.

When I do a Cleaning Service its an Hourly Rate with Supplies Included, now the rate varies from the type of service they request. They may request a Light Cleaning, Medium Cleaning or they may request a Heavy Cleaning the rates for those are different because of the involvement it takes to complete each service.

For Carpet Cleaning like most Carpet Cleaning Companies that is generally charged by the Sq. Ft. and the local going rates. That may be $.30 a sq. ft. or it may be $1.30 all depending on your service area.
