About Us

Tension fabric is a growing trend for portable trade show displays and special experiential event exhibits. Our Snap-tube aluminum framing is lightweight and requires no tools for installation....easy to put up and take down! Displays set up quickly by stretching a fitted fabric cover printed with your artwork (dye-sublimation) over a lightweight frame. The Dye-Sublimation transforms this fabric into a powerful canvas....and turns heads! Create walls, booths, banner displays, overhead hanging signs…any size, any shape, whatever you want! We are a custom builder, so, let’s get incredibly creative!

With the latest Dye Sublimation technology, any digital image can be transferred to fabric with all the impact of the original. Heat and pressure create a vibrant, durable image that can stand up to abuse and exposure. With our 10’ printers and an excellent seamstress, we can do your huge displays.

How We Got Started

Warp originated as a sewing factory for REI. We made tents and bags for REI until they moved the operations overseas. With skilled seamstresses, WARP added experienced welders and began to build custom shapes and forms of banners, exhibits, walls, signs etc. Hence, WARP EXHIBITS was born over 25 years ago, and now is an industry leader for custom built displays etc.

I really didn't know anything about what the salesmen did on their sales calls as that wasn't my department. I decided that I would prepare a few good questions, and listen the rest of the time, since I had 2 ears, and 1 mouth I would listen twice as much as I talked. Before I returned to the office, the new client called and placed an order for $50,000. They told my boss that they had every competitor come, and I was the only one that "Listened" to their needs. Over the years, they have ordered hundreds of thousands. I learned a valuable lesson that day, and soon became the number "1" salesperson. People like it when you listen to them! Listen and learn.

Although social media has enhanced how we are much more proficient about keeping in touch with our clients, and reaching out to new ones, not much has changed with regard to meeting people face to face. At the end of the day, we humans like to do business with people we like. The tradeshow industry is as strong as ever, and attendees span every generation.

Position yourself in front of the audience you wish to do business with. It can be anything from a local Chamber show to large national show depending on where your customers are. 2.) Debut your product or service in a clear, exciting and engaging manner. That could mean using a beautiful display, or using your product to decorate your space, or a combination of both. Just make sure your message is CLEAR! 3.) Prepare every detail of the show. That includes the staff you choose to represent your company. (they will be making the first impression) 4.) Follow UP immediately! Do not go to all of the effort in 1,2,3 just to let it all fade away 2 weeks after the event. That's my quickest answer. Contact me direct if you would like more ideas.

Do you work primarily in your own area? If you do, the best way to get to know people is to join clubs, and attend events like after hours, breakfast, brown bag, etc.. Network, network, network.
