I am the sole owner of Filson Paralegal Services, a virtual paralegal services company located in Seminole, Florida. I have 30+ years in the legal support field and have practiced in many areas of law including; Civil, Civil Rights, Criminal and Administrative law as well as contract and family law arenas. As a disabled veteran, my business is operated from my home-based office. For the client, this means I am always available and available to work 24/7 without distractions or interruption. I am proficient in all Microsoft and Google-based data processing forms and formats. I maintain subscriptions with Lexis-Nexis and West Law to ensure that my research is current and valid throughout the U.S. As a lifelong learner, I am working on my Masters in Law through an on-line university program and enjoy law in all its facets, as both a profession and a hobby. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to interview for your position and will endeavor to produce the highest quality products in an expedient and efficient manner.
I am an associate member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL) and the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) as well as the South Florida Paralegal Association (SFPA).
