Our company provides both decorated clothing and promotional products to a variety of clients.  When we are asked to recommend a product, our first question is who is going to receive the item, followed by what message are you attempting to deliver and how are the gifts being distributed.  If the purchasing company were, for example, an accountant presenting at a Chamber event then we might suggest a small logoed calculator that could be given to each attendee.  We would also recommend a pen and note pad be placed on every seat that would carry the same logo.  The reason behind this selection is that you would want to bring your company name to the forefront of the recipients but have items small enough that they can take with them.
