Way too much brain damage and stress. Been there. Blood will always trump outsiders, no matter how qualified they are. If it were me, I'd continue rolling with their system, pleasing all, while diligently searching for and landing a new employment opportunity. If I were to resign/quit then search, good chance I would not receive a truthful and unbiased past employment referral from this company.
We all work hard at our jobs and careers.  We can and should have fun and enjoy our jobs with our co-workers and our supervisors collaboratively, while continuing to strive for excellence, which in turn leads to opportunities for advances and bonuses. Just my 2 cent suggestion from my past experience.
