Writing is definitely a calling as well as a career for me. I started writing novels by hand in third grade because I had stories I just HAD to get out. Thankfully my parents took mercy on me and let me use the family computer for hours a day, but since then, I've always felt stressed when I haven't written in awhile. Now I'm more in the screenwriting and scripted podcast space, but I always have a novel slowly going in the background for fun.
