(more) Thanks to the suspension of HIPPA requirements, our health care services staff (RDNs, LDNs) for clinical nutrition counseling are now able to contact patients via phone, Face Time or Skype.   This is critical since many of our patients are considered "high risk" because of underlying illnesses and their need to be seen (now contacted) at least twice a week.  Patients at "high risk" and unwell with symptoms known be associated with Covid-19 exposures are directed to speak with their Doctors (PCPs) immediately to determine if testing and/or quarantine is required. Apart from the CDC recommended hand washing routine, safe distancing, and self-quarantine, it is suggested that you leave your outdoor shoes outside and change to indoor shoes to help mitigate virus exposures to contact with untreated, potentially outdoor hard surfaces, since new evidence suggests that Covid-19 can persist for approximately 14 days on hard surfaces without any form of disinfectant treatment.

Finally, our freezer/refrigerators are cleaned weekly and expired items and unused patient food samples removed.   Staff must use a separate freezer/refrigerator and cleaning is their responsibility on a weekly basis. Both staff, patients and clients really appreciate our attention to the detail we provide to safeguard their health & wellness status.

(more) Risk Management Incorporated has two divisions: Healthcare (Medical Nutrition Services) and Environmental Services (Environmental Hazardous Waste Site Assessments for chemicals and nuclear materials). For the healthcare care division, we market heavily through the web and Professional  Association Websites and also through medical networks, and direct doctor and patient referrals.  Hence, the majority of our patients contact us via these portals.  However, in some cases we are notified about these referrals but the patient never calls and we wait approximately 24- 48 hours before calling them.  More often than not the patients find we do not accept their health insurance programs (primarily for low income individuals) and we never hear anything more, even though we call them back within 24-48 hours.   Other patients contact us and expect us to call them back  the same day and make an appointment with us within 2- 4 hours.  Unfortunately, this is not always possible since no RDN, LDNs   *Nutritionist/Dieticians) are available to call back later in the day or at night or necessarily early the next day.  In the interim, when we do reach them they have already made an appointment with another  RDN/LDN.  Ironically, more often than not, these same potential patients contact us again within 2-4 months because they didn't receive the Standard of Care they were expecting from the other provider! For the Environmental Services Division we always call potential clients back immediately to determine how urgent their needs are, especially if it is emergency, so that we can pull a qualified team together immediately to assess their full needs. In the case of cold calls,  professional presentations or inquiries, we always try to call them back immediately or early the next day.  Many clients really appreciate that and more often than not state they appreciate our rapid response and they engage our services. In your case, unless they genuinely showed some interest at your presentation, or needed to contact their superiors before speaking with you further and provided a time frame as to when they call back, we would probably call them within 24-48 hours, but not later.  In our 22 years of experience, the longer you wait to hear from them, the less likely they are to utilize your services or end up shopping their work around for cost estimates.  Always best to strike earlier when there appeared to be a "glimmer of hope."   Often, they will ask you new questions not addressed in your presentation, which is usually an encouraging sign and discuss cost issues or scope of work. (more) Hi Cory:  We are a Veteran, Woman-Owned Small Business, offering both health care and environmental consulting services.  We have tried to keep our logo simple and supplement it with links to Veteran Business Listings and sites.  If you are a veteran you are entitled to use these links, logos and photgraphs. I agree with Sonny that your logo is very stylish but doesn't help your desired image.  Use of tag lines is very helpful as suggested.  For example for our environmental services, we tend to work with a team of specialists that complement our skill sets and use the tag line "Make us part of your team" for environmental services. Please don't take this personally, but working in the environmental field, your logo tends to remind me of bio-hazards  or other waste management warning signs.  This is reinforced by your choice of the aggressive red coloring. Suggest you look at other on-line Veteran Web Sites for color choices.  Hopefully, this helps.  BOL in your endeavors. Peter
