Thomas James Jewelers is now merged with Bechtold Jewelry operating each company together, with Thomas James Jewelers as a a Custom Retail Jeweler with a focus on Retail Jewelry Design and personal creation for clients, and Bechtold Jewelry as an expert in Jewelry products with the most excellent brands of jewelry and watches. We also specialize in expert jewelery repair, restoration, and unique gemstones. Thomas James Faini and his team have been creating and repairing jewelry for 37 years, and the parent company which he owns is F&H Private Jewelers which his father started in 1950, and has been creating and repairing jewelry and supplying gemstones for jewelry stores for 68 years! Now we bring that experience directly to you.

How We Got Started

Previously I was Co-Owner of Faini Designs, training, teaching and designing and making many pieces for their clients, I saw that business trend too far towards the foreign manufacturers. I decided to divide the company and take my staff back to the roots of the craft. Back closer to what my father Larry had in mind. I wanted to simplify the equation, control the quality, and celebrate the jewelers I have taught. Let them get the limelight. I wanted to provide a down to earth experience for my clients, and make it about them. I want to make sure my clients are well taken care of, and know that their gift of love, or precious gems are handled by jewelers they can see, talk to, and trust.

You can ask if any stores would be interested in carrying your products. There are 14,000 jewelers on that forum right now. Other than getting into trade shows, which would not be cheap to do, this might be a great option for you to try. Best of Luck. By the way, I would like to see what you have to offer myself to see if it is is fit for what I do. I promote and create speciality pieces we create ourselves, or by artisans. Looking for exquisite craftsmanship, in all price ranges.

I have the greatest employees in the world. When I hire someone, I’m not just hiring them, but their family, their family situations etc... I have found over the years, that the worst problems I have had, have come not from inside the work place, but from outside of it, and then get brought in.... I have found over the years, that the worst problems I have had, have come not from inside the work place, but from outside of it, and then get brought in. So I ask, “tell me about your wife”. Tell me about your mom, dad. I want people with dynamic family structure, that is supportive. Then I make it my business to make sure the family knows how well my employees are doing. When they get positive feed back from their families about work, it plugs an employee into a new dimension. I also do not call my employees “employees”. They are my team mates. When they score, I let their wives, parents and kids know they are a hero. And I mean it!
