One of those ways is sending real greeting cards all year long.  I love creating them online (even use my own photos), and they are fulfilled by an amazing company and delivered through the mail.  Sometimes I include a gift with the card. It's a great time-saver, because I have lots of customers and prospects to whom I want to express my appreciation, celebrate their life events, and keep in touch. I can schedule birthday cards and anniversary cards to go out at the right moment so that they arrive on time--all designed to make people feel special and appreciated. I also love helping my clients/customers send cards of gratitude, kindness,  and recognition to their clients, customers, and prospects.  Some examples include thank you for your business, birthday cards to veterans, work anniversary cards to staff members, gig anniversary cards to music event planners/activity directors, get well cards, sympathy cards, congratulations cards, and holiday cards. A card of gratitude that comes to a person's mailbox is unusual and memorable--especially in this Digital Age.  It's tangible and carries a thoughtful message; and if you place a photo of your customer in that card, they'll never throw it away!

I like to follow up the same day by sending a card of appreciation (gotta have the physical mailing address, of course).  If we meet in person, it's a great opportunity for me to take a photo of us both and upload it into the card.  When the person receives the card in the mail a few days later,... We are helping with a service project to provide small packages of toiletries to enhance the dignity of those less fortunate. Throughout the year, we have been sharing beautiful pins that say, "It's all about love," with people we have connected with in our work and during our travels.
