Founded in 2018 by Riccardo and Marybeth Tarabelsi, R Wine Bar & Kitchen is an Italian-inspired wine bar and restaurant. Born in Florence, Italy, Riccardo came to the U.S. at age 5 and grew up in Boston, Massachusetts. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, moved out east after high school. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard Island in 1996. Relocating to Sioux Falls in 1999, Riccardo has led many restaurants and organizations to high success. The dream of a wine bar and restaurant has now become a reality on the East Bank of Downtown Sioux Falls in the historic Frank Building. Riccardo, Marybeth, and their family welcome you to R Wine Bar, along with their hand-picked staff including Chef Pho Suriyasak and Dining Room Manager Kira Freese.
