If that is time that is not dedicated to business or business development, then most great thinkers would propose that you spend those "gaps" in your schedule on developing yourself. "Sharpen the saw" as Covey writes. Call a loved one, read an inspiring book, listen to a powerful audio recording. Many experts suggest that you actually schedule these strategic breaks at least every 90 minutes! If that "Free" time is time that you think you should be doing something to develop your business...than the answer is beyond the scope of a one paragraph answer. "Know your numbers"- Gather key business metrics from your section chiefs and analyze your #'s Start dialing your phone- firm up your relationships with clients, vendors, prospects Social media engagement...Youcan touch thousands of prospects with an hour on social media (Don't know "Social Media"- Youtube! A half hour twice a week on Youtube can change your social media game.) Your time on the job is not"FREE". You should know what an hour of your time is worth! You should also know that for every person on your team. Don't know it? Do you want to know how to determine it? If not....are you running a business or a "hobby". Call me if any of this does not make sense.

If you are not required to comply with such scrutiny, a solid accountant is extremely helpful as even a good bookkeeper is beneficial. If you want tax guidance/preparation- an accountant or a qualified tax preparer is suitable....(This is just my "two cents" as a small business advisor and Financial Services professional)
