I tried it all times to shop and buy local and they to support my small business. I only resort to larger businesses when I have to. Sometimes if the price difference is way too far off and do dig deeper you will find out it's not apples for apples. For example hormone-free grass-fed beef spot locally even though it might be $0.50 more a pound has better quality than some I've purchased through a vendor. And I usually know the cow that it came from. So you raise your price a little bit and your customers like knowing where their food came from.
I just use a simple one from OfficeMax it's not so much the quality of the time clock is it is the idea of accountability and adding up hours
