And to give the quality service to consumers that they're looking for.
For my company. I am the front man to represent myself and get to know other business owners. Which is great because you have the chance to meet and exchange ideas and also potentially build new business relationships.

I deal with it on occasion and it can be frustrating. You have to be patient and understanding until you get your money. If you wish to do more work for that client you need to let them know that you are a small business and you cannot operate a successful business like that. My policy has...

If you wish to do more work for that client you need to let them know that you are a small business and you cannot operate a successful business like that. My policy has always been partial payment to start and the balance upon completion of job. That way if they decide not to pay you the remaining balance (hopefully they will) you would have gotten some of your money.
