About Us

I work with businesses that want better internet reviews, need help responding to them, get more social media engagement, or are looking for alternatives to PPC. We drive traffic to your website by using geo-targeting, hyper-local, reputation, social media, demographics, and other marketing techniques. We then use reputation pops (a dynamic website promotion tool) to give them social proof to get more to buy immediately and web retargeting to get them to come back when they are ready to buy.

We are all about bringing business leads to their business.

How We Got Started

I have been an entrepreneur since the 1960s when I sold greeting cards door-to-door (I was about 12 years old). I have had several businesses. Some have been great successes and others failed.

The biggest problem when starting a business is knowing who their customers are and how to get a message to them. That is what I have learned to do and I help others to get marketing that works.

When I ran a photography studio, I found that marketing was all about the company selling the marketing services, rather than about giving the retailer the tools to succeed. It is great customer service and being flexible for the customers that keep our customers with us.

Having the right tools to market is also important. I work with multiple cutting-edge digital/social media marketing programs. These are tools that until recently were only available to Amazon, Target, Walmart, and other large companies because of the cost. We have joined forces with other like-minded agencies to bring costs down.

Listen carefully and adjust as needed. Does it have the necessary things that makes your product/service unique enough for people to want to buy in?  Is it too complicated or has too many benefits and is making it complicated?

Find groups on Facebook and look for blogs that are for your perfect customers. Ask to join groups and comment  legitimately on group and blog post. I have gone to some of my software companies to ask for special pricing to offer for a time. Some have responded and on Monday I introduce a social media posting package that has cost $149 for just $40.  If they sign up in the first two weeks, they get an additional $10 off and I have this now available for as long as they keep paying for the price they sign up for. After this time period, it will go up for new people that begin after the program has ended. It is part of my stimulus package for businesses. I don't want to see any business fail because they couldn't get the marketing that would help them.  I also have some free products and books that I will be giving away. I don't believe these will be taken as anything but a help for this time of "social distancing." The key is to show it is from you to your friends and prospects to HELP them.

It needs to show value for them by fulfilling their pain and needs and once you have established the exact solution for them, help them understand the value of what you have. Make sure they are in agreement that this is the best solution for their problem. Always talk in benefits as well. Only after they are in agreement with the solution should you discuss a price.  I prefer meeting in person to go over the proposal. If they are out of town or in my case, sometimes out of the country, I never send a proposal unless they are on either a call or web-meeting with me. It allows me to help them understand the proposal.

A hair stylist is very different from a real estate agent. A fast food restaurant is very different from a heating/air company. I always recommend staying in touch by sending them valuable information about the industry, product or even how to help them in their lives. A bookkeeper can stay in touch by giving tips and provide articles that help manage a business or employees. A stylist can send tips for nail styles or fashion tips. There are many ways to stay in touch so you are reminding them to use you again. Hopefully you are getting to be a trusted advisor.  Note: soft offers for other products or services are great to keep you in touch. A real estate agent tells people about a handyman or plumber he knows.   You get the idea.

What is the problem that your high end customers have that you have a solution for?  One of my clients added a new service that attracted higher end clients. His service gave them either a ride back to work and a pickup after the vehicle was complete or the auto shop would send someone to drive over and pick up the vehicle and then drop it back when they are finished. They also always included a car wash (when the weather permits - if not a certificate to have it washed and hand dried), a detailing/cleaning/deodorizing of the interior of the car. As a bonus they gave a specialty goodie (chocolate covered apple or box of chocolates during the winter or goldfish crackers and a bottle of A&W rootbeer in the summer). C-level people love this service and have increased his bottomline considerably.

The other 15% was in the follow-up. I find that follow-up is such a vital component and all of us miss things. The key to making sure you don't miss things is to write them down on a calendar or put them in a CRM, calendar program or even a things-to-do list. Understand that nobody is perfect but learning to follow-up right is something every salesperson needs to know.  You also need to read the signs of how your customer wants to be followed up. One may love email and another loves text. Yet, another likes calls or a proposal in their hand. Be sure you know exactly how this customer wants to be followed up.
