We would like to introduce ourselves Superior Grinding & Sales Inc has long been known for excellent service since 1990. To make sure that customer needs are being met, we are continually updated and trained on new products and technology in the Grinding & Machining Industry we are ISO, AS9100, WOSB & WBENC Certified.
We are highly recognized as a close Tolerance Precision Grinding Shop and small parts manufacturer. For 34 years we have continued to grow and serve the Machining and Grinding Industries by offering, Inside and outside diameter grinding, centerless grinding, (plunge, through feed and long bar), surface grinding, angled surface grinding, CNC Swiss Machining up to 1.5" Dia., Lathe, Mill, ID OD grinding, & Honing for Commercial, Aerospace and Medical Industries, and all types of Industrial blade (knife) sharpening and sales of replacement knives for the Printing, Food, Recycling & Packaging Industries.
How We Got Started
34 years ago, Wendie Flitton started grinding blades for the printing industry. Back then, it was a 2-person company. Wendie handling sales and the finances, and her
sole employee, Bryant Bennett, would do the grinding. Through the 34 years the company has evolved adding many other types of CNC Grinding and CNC Machining. Bryant is still working with Wendie at Superior Grinding and Swiss Machining today!

from my experience, doing business in china is hard for most want money upfront. When quality is an issue you have paid and now you own the bad parts. The time shipping into Port is long and fee's are high. I personally prefer working with made in America!!!

Hiring new people is like a box of chocolates!!! you never know what your going to get.
We have been trying working interviews. You can't rely on resume's they can say anything. it seems most machinist CNC today can just turn on machine and adjust they can't set up, or make any big changes or...

You can't rely on resume's they can say anything. it seems most machinist CNC today can just turn on machine and adjust they can't set up, or make any big changes or trouble shoot parts, but they want 20+ an hour. It is a big struggle and I haven't enjoyed it.

It is very hard. We look at the Machine Schools try getting them right out of school. We have had to work hard on developing a culture that the millennial generation will work under. They want structure it seems. We also as hard as it is financially cover the employee's insurance 100%. We go...

We go thru RMI a human resource company and they offer good affordable insurance, cafeteria plan, and 401K.
