The idea of tried and true closing lines struck me in the same way as rehearsed pick-up lines. Then I thought about it some more and yes, there are things that should be common to closing every deal. A handshake, a thank you, an assurance you will meet the deadline. An indication you appreciate this relationship and that you give their needs great importance should be simple and sincere. A practiced individual will know the right words for each situation. Know how to shake hands. Many people are terrible at it.

The most important thing to close a deal is to know when to close. Do not prattle on when the customer is already sold.
