(more) When it comes to Health Share plans, you need an Agent that will go over all the details with you. I have clients who these plans work great for, others who have struggled with them. They are not a good fit for everyone, but can offer some substantial savings for some. If you are interested in a Health Share plan, make sure you review your doctors with your agent as not all facilities work well with these networks and reimbursement strategies.  The biggest takeaway I can give is to have a knowledgeable agent who will walk you through all the different options that are available to you.

The goal now is finding that balance between offering a competitive package to your employees to retain the best team, while not blowing the budget out of the water. Many employers have found a nice mix of products that they cover for the employees paired with other options that the employees pay for but at much better rates than an individual market. Your broker should be updating you on all the options and reviewing the renewing policies around 3 months prior to your renewal date. If you don't feel like they are giving you the options to review, it may be time to find a broker who will.
