About Us

We are a small family owed business located in the Spokane Valley. We have 12 years experience teaching classes throughout the area.
We will travel to your place of business and train employees in CPR/AED/First Aid, Basic Life support, CPR/AED, CPR/AED/First aid/Bloodborne pathogens or First Aid Only. We also offer weekly classes at our location.
We can also do a Lunch and Learn 1 hour Hands only CPR training for employees who don't need a certification class. Or a 1 hour AED training.

How We Got Started

I started Sheri's First Aid CPR Classes to offer classes to community members without paying a high cost. I wanted everyone to be able to afford a CPR class.
My son joined me in 2013 and we now offer classes at our location and we can travel to businesses.

We cannot pass someone who arrives after the first 10 minutes of learning the skills.  We had someone arrive 30 minutes late and refused to leave. We allow people to reschedule one time for free. She interrupted the entire class and I had to go to the business and assist my instructor in getting her to leave.  I almost had to call authorities to have her removed. After 30 minutes of interfering with others learning, she finally left.   I let her know learning CPR is an important skill and she had missed 30 minutes of instruction and we could not pass her. I also let her know we could not teach her the skills she had already missed because we had another class scheduled 15 minutes after this class ended. After her screaming and verbal threats, I let her know we would not be rescheduling with and she would need to find another business to learn CPR. The worse part of this experience was how she interrupted others from learning the skills and the class ended up running late for them. She had no regard for others. My instructor had done an amazing job being patient with her. The other students  wrote out affidavits in case anything came of it because of her verbal threats to turn us into AHA.

And other businesses call and complain about our prices being too low. My major goal isn't to compete actually, my goal is to help everyone, no matter income level know CPR. I am thankful  I knew CPR the first time I needed to use it because someone took the time to help me pay for it when I was growing up in "poverty level".  Of course I want us to succeed and build a base of those who come to us to learn the skills and we work  hard to compete with larger companies since we are a small family business.

They are extremely important to a small business but can also be frustrating. When someone lies and you have no way to explain what "really occurred".
