About Us

I'm a Servant Leader, and serving my customers' needs drives me daily. Serving all areas of Spokane and the surrounding area, I'm a Certified Sales Specialist and effectively market my listings to gain full exposure, consistently becoming top listings on sites like Zillow, Realtor.com and others. For Buyers, I'm happy to tour 1, 2, 10, 20 or whatever number of homes it takes to find you the right home.

How We Got Started

After managing and building sales teams for multiple technology companies and working in hotels for 15+ years, I put all of my sales, marketing, and service experience to work in real estate where I've built a business that is thriving, but always has room to grow.

I can say I'm lucky from the respect that the industry I work in (real estate) and location (Spokane) are a combination of "right place & right time," but I've also worked hard the past 4 years to build my business that has helped me not need the stimulus. That being the case, I know there are too many businesses that need the stimulus to stay afloat and I think that is a great thing for them. If it was not for COVID and the crisis it created on many levels, most of these businesses would not be struggling.

In real estate, we must take precautions or risk losing our WA Realtors license. Once we were able to tour homes again, it was only one person + realtor at a time so you had to take turns, now it is realtor + 2 and masks are required any time we interact with others. We also turn on the lights and crack open doors to minimize touching.  I will continue these practices and of course wear my mask when interacting with people as WA State requires us to do. Although Buyers and Sellers are not required (as a Realtor is) I will encourage them to do so as well to protect the greater community and others that may be at risk.

Great question Ericka and I can provide what I'm doing as a Realtor (for concerns with FHA/VA I'll leave that to a lender to respond): For Buyers I am limiting my tours and will do whatever I can virtually without visiting a home. For clients who have reduced their search to homes on their short list, we can arrange in person tours but only have me and one person inside the home at a time, and adhering to social distancing practices with minimal touching of anything.  For SELLERS, I provide a Matterport 3D and Virtual Reality Tour for EVERY listing, in addition to 4K stills and drone videos. This provides anyone the opportunity to walk inside the home from a wherever they are. I also set up a COVID-19 Kit/Station inside the entry with gloves, booties, hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, and the latest information from WA Realtors and our Governor on what is allowed and what is not. I even held a FB Live tour of the new listing along with a preferred lender and have had great response to that.

Commercial transactions are more like a contract and shorter than residential transaction that can be 25-50 pages in WA. I don't think you have the competition in commercial as you do in a residential market that is hot, like Spokane.  (more) Commercial transactions are more like a contract and shorter than residential transaction that can be 25-50 pages in WA. Believe it or not, Real Estate is a customer service business and in my eyes 95-99% of what I do is pro-bono work and I do not expect to get paid for most of what I do...yet because I work on my clients' schedule and timeline, when they are ready they typically work with me and I get paid. If your time it too valuable to work with only pre-approved Buyers you would be best served in letting them know that upfront, If you are a Spokane Realtor and have that attitude lets's talk...I'd be happy to set up a referral program and happy to help them and pay you for the referral.

The valuable lesson I learned from my 1st client is that you need to truly listen to them, understand their true needs vs. wants, and focus on their needs 1st.  It may take time to find what they want, so be patient. In real estate you cannot rush a client into a decision or they, AND YOU, will regret it later. Luckily I have not had anyone show buyer's remorse and I understand my business is about my clients, not me: if they find their dream house on the 1st one we look at, great.  And if it takes 10, 15, 20, or more than that is what we'll do.
