My husband and I have over 30 years of experience with our local fire and rescue. We specialize in stress free training and make it our priority to make sure every sincle student is comfortable before leaving.
The area my husband and I live in is rural. Should someone need CPR or resuce breathing, the likelihood that the fire department or rescue squad will be dispatched and then arrive BEFORE brain damage can occur is very small. Arriving on the scene of a child who choked or drown and not one person knew how to admisiter CPR or Rescue Breathing is just heartwrenching for us as well. Time is very important when an unconscious person is not breathing. Permanent brain damage begins after only 4 minutes without oxygen, and death can occur as soon as 4 to 6 minutes later. Learning CPR is not hard and it is not time consuming. The Heartsaver course which also teaches First Aid takes approximately 4 hours. Won't you take the time to Save A Life???
