How We Got Started

My Biz partner ran the Facebook ad campaign for the winning political party in his province of Canada recently and I had just completed an intensive internship in Online Digital Marketing out of Scotland and we met at a digital conference and clicked right away. We realized that we complemented each others weaknesses so we teamed up and Smile Bone Media was born in April 2019.

As far as search, it's an alt option to Google for your search bar and it is quickly becoming my favorite. Duck is similar to incognito in that it leaves minimal history so you won't be ad tracked as much and they privacy is superior to Google. It is also has faster download times and allows you to still use your Google password vault. They just won the bidding war with Google as the designated second alternative ahead of Yahoo and Bing so it's gaining popularity. They are known for not storing your information which to most, these days, is becoming very appealing.

You should have some clue but my firm specializes in Facebook advertising so I know the guidelines very well. Can you give me some more insight on how you were using Facebook....in what capacity? Promoting a product, debating politics, telling a joke, posting a meme? Please elaborate. If it's a startup company then you a website, SEO, branding, social media, a sales funnel, Facebook advertising, Google ads, possibly a blog with content, integration of software, email campaign, and extensive set-up of everything above. Then we have to consider where the product is manufactured and if it's in China then you have to consider the time. Cost and pricing are huge factors and fulfillment of the product. The list goes on and on but there is a science to it and we are good at it.

Greet them and ask them directly how you may help them. If they don't tell you, they are deceiving you and that is not someone I would want to align with. That for me, is grounds for "being rude" although after reading this, I hope you understand that you are not the one being rude...they are. They have wasted your time by taking you off your task bc you have to keep eyes on them. You gave them an opportunity to be honest and they chose not to which then allows them to waste more of your time. As far as the soliciting sign, that's a tough one to begin with because I believe that isn't binding by law because it is a public business and they do deserve freedom of speech. Once they attempt to pitch you....simply say, "I'm very sorry to interrupt you, but may I have your card. I work by appointment only with "NON CUSTOMERS" so l will take a look at you on-line when I have a chance and if I I'm interested then I will reach out to YOU. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to inventory".  Don't feel bad. They saw the sign and should respect your wishes for no solicitation. They could've said this after you said, how may I help you...."Yes maa'm, I did see the sign on your door so I'll be quick, my name is blah blah blah, and I have something you may be interested in that could be mutually beneficial to the both of us. Would it be too much to ask for an appointment with you for a more convenient time?" Don't you agree that this ☝️is much more acceptable? I hope this helps. Greg LeRoux- Smile Bone Media
