Our owner and founder, Shelly Phillips, has spent her career in the financial industry. After working in corporate America, bookkeeping companies and CPA firms, she decided to branch out on her own to fulfill what is lacking the in accounting industry, that one-on-one relationship from a professional who truly cares about her client's business as if its her own. Our clients are more like family working together to achieve the goal of financial prosperity and leaving a lifetime legacy.

They have an after hours answering service which has the option of stating it is an emergency call. Most calls are not true emergencies and the majority of the time the attorneys return the call on the next business day. Definitely no meetings in the evenings or on weekends.
I have recently started prospecting on LinkedIn targeting business owners in my niche. I collaborated with a CPA who specializes in automating this process so when the prospect schedules a conference call or face-to-face meeting, they are a solid lead and it reduces my time in "selling my services".

I struggle with the online marketing because to be successful with it requires commitment and consistency and running a busy bookkeeping firm I don't have the time. But the credit card processor I use, they give me a FREE loyalty program, mobile marketing, email marketing and social media...

But the credit card processor I use, they give me a FREE loyalty program, mobile marketing, email marketing and social media marketing. PLUS they give me my own dedicated marketing representative. It accomplishes all my marketing needs from attracting new customers as well as existing ones for repeat business.
I have attracted clients by Craiglist, LinkedIn and my listing on the Quickbooks Find-A-ProAdvisor website. BUT my most recent clients have come from my credit card processor. They include FREE marketing and your own dedicated marketing representative. Feel free to message me if you want the info.

If you don't want to use Quickbooks Payments, I suggest First Data, they have good rates. Some of my clients use them and are very pleased with the rates and service.

Word of month referrals are great. Nothing better than your clients giving a favorable testimony of your product/services! But as many have mentioned, word of mouth advertising is very slow. I do not have a high turnover of clients or repeat clients. My clients stay with me for years and the...

Word of month referrals are great. Nothing better than your clients giving a favorable testimony of your product/services! But as many have mentioned, word of mouth advertising is very slow. I do not have a high turnover of clients or repeat clients. My clients stay with me for years and the decision to retain my services is a well-thought out one. I am a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor and most of my leads come from the Find-A-ProAdvisor website. My prospects have a specific need (bookkeeping/tax) and go to the source to find it (through the Quickbooks accounting software). Many of my current clients have given me reviews which helps potential prospects as they evaluate my services. Each business is different in how you attract your clients/customers. But marketing your business in the avenue that works for YOU needs to be a daily goal so that you can scale and grow.
