Do you really increase your income by giving discounts to your customers?

In over 30 years of doing business I have given some discounts but not many. The reason is that I am aware of the cost of each frame and how much margins we have. We do not arbitrarily raise our price(s) so that we can discount it -- NEVER! We try to operate in a more ethical way of doing business. So in short, I don't think giving discounts promotes our business -- our attention to quality and service DO!
