The government can help other countries through their stimulus funds though.  What are they doing with the federal funds?  It is an alarming and shocking rate to lose businesses which help our economy.  We cannot all keep thinking the government is going to take care of ourselves.  I, for one, am helping any small business out in everyway that we can.  Lastly, we really have to manufacture products and cannot let the companies that are successful through this go away overseas to avoid higher taxation.

If it is, great, then start looking for places to sell your work. eBay is a good place to start since you can reach a global audience, though keep in mind that your work will be worth less there than if you sold it in a trendy local shop. Once you have gotten comfortable making pottery for sale, you can move on to create your own web site and try to get your work into local shops on a consignment basis (this means that you get paid when they sell your work). Search for stores that will offer to sell your products for you. Using Instagram ads to market your pottery More than a billion people use Instagram monthly. Engagement numbers are higher than for both Facebook and Twitter. 75% of users take action on Instagram ads, and 35% of American adults use Instagram. The average cost-per-click Instagram ads are around $0.70 – $0.80. Yours might vary. The time of the year also determines the cost to a great extent. These are the types of ads on Instagram: Stories ads Photos ads Video ads Carousel ads Collection ads Conclusion As an online Pottery seller, you have your work cut out. Still, you can make a name for your brand and make profits too. It is essential to be deliberate about every aspect of your business, as this is the only way to guarantee success. While there may be other pottery sellers online, you can remain relevant by bringing inventiveness, creativity, and innovation to your business.  Take the highest quality photos of your products, use a "white tent" to shoot images.  Our final comments, is as always, you have competitors and packaging, logos, presentation with product tags / logos are ideal to stay on top of all!  Branding is important. www.thedukepress.com Marketing Professionals, Driven for your success

(more) It has been a very tough year for all small businesses, all are essential for a working and strong economy.  Surviving has been the hardest challenge, restructuring can only take a company so far.  There has to be some forgiveness granted for small business, the government has not done enough.  Challenge your local government and your governor, all have failed to support many who struggle and find it impossible to reopen their doors in January '21.  Many landlords are not understanding the hardships to pay the monthly lease, I believe the landlords need help from the government to pass it on downwards to small business owners.  It's the right thing to do.  When other businesses hurt, it's a domino effect and hurts our industry as well.  We are in this together, and I strongly urge for those who can to please support your local businesses to help your community pull out of these hurting times.

(more) In a nutshell, brand identity is nothing but the way in which a brand portrays itself to the target audience. On the contrary, brand image is the way existing, and prospective customers perceive a particular brand and connect with it. Brand personality refers to the personification of any brand . It is basically a set of human characteristics or traits that are assigned or embedded within a brand. Brand personality is created when there are human-like traits such as caring, creative, trustworthy, unique, straightforward, rebel, dishonest. Why should you bother defining a brand personality? A brand is a living entity and you need to think of it as such. Your brand communicates what you stand for, and makes you unique. It helps your target customers distinguish you from your competitors; and the connection is much more emotional than you might think. (more) Dancing Instructors now... who are unable to go to the studio have brought movement to thousands of young children in every way possible—virtually, in parking lots and outdoor parks, backyard porches and the list goes on. Those kids have a new appreciation for their teachers; they see their strength and look to them as mentors and leaders, not simply as the person whose job it is to make them great dance experts.  No doubt that COVID has hit this industry hard, like many others. Before the pandemic, I researched an online academy which offered instructions at a cost of $19 per month, had about 125 students. Now since this past summer the instructor advertised on all media and now teaches 250 online, including those from her own Montebello studio and from Oklahoma, North Carolina, Mexico, Germany and beyond. Marketing is tough during this pandemic.  Our experts are here to help you find ways to rebound in any career.  Reach out to Duke Printing and Marketing, we care about your business!  We are more than about printing, we want you to be successful and make everlasting business friendships.  It's what we love to do! As marketing professionals, let's get FRONT STREET SIGNAGE; even if only a portable sidewalk sign!  People need to know you are still open and how you are handling safety during COVID-19. Do not set minimum purchase amounts.  This will kill your business. Since you have concerns w/ safety because of your medical health, I would hire a part time employee to oversee your customers while you do the work behind the scenes.  (giving back to the community by offering a job) Please offer curbside drop-off and pick-up.  Since  you work with leather, expand to other products; I love the idea of custom pet leashes and products.  Perhaps mens belts too!  With your newly added services, mail promotions are working at its best.   I think a barber shop is brilliant.  People still need haircuts, this will pull them in.  Space stalls far away with walls for an added comfort feel.  Sell mens shaving kits like The Dollar Shave Club... I see that Walmart now sells these.  I believe an added all around "MENS SHOE SHINE + GROOMING" has a ring to it.  Adding pets is always a plus, men do love their dogs and puppies.  (and yes, I saw them all in SC buying their pets items at a craft show recently). Reach out to me directly, I'll be happy to assist your company in anyway possible.  Signage, Window Signage, Sidewalk Signage, Postcard Mailings! From personal experience with our shop, we had to make changes too during COVID-19.  Unfortunately, we had to invest in our business also ... that was not what one wishes for during business losses but it is a must to reinvest and grow.  This is an added expense but can help!
