I guess you must remember that they are in a sales position and trying to make money to live on. They are taught how to do this and how to talk people into doing things they cannot do RIGHT NOW. I would ask those questions right away before going to meet them in person. Your time is as valuable as theirs. You must take the best attitude with you and when they say NO, they are saying NO to what you are offering, they are not saying no to you as a person.
