The key to identifying and executing an effective marketing campaign is to understand who your target audience is, then determine where their attention is. Once you know where their attention is, identify how to grab their attention on those platforms and execute best practices to rise above your competition. For example, my ideal audience for EQ Media Lab are business owners and entrepreneurs in their start up and growth phase. I know for certain that the majority of these business owners could be on linkedin. I know that they could be following content on inc.com or watching videos on youtube related to startups, business growth strategies. (3 examples but there are many more) Now that I have identified where my target audience is spending their time, I will start creating amazing content for these platforms that provide value to the questions that these individuals and businesses would have related to the services we offer. If hosting on your servers, you will need to ensure that your videos are labelled and contain file information related to the topic and location you are targeting. Once you have the... If hosting on your servers, you will need to ensure that your videos are labelled and contain file information related to the topic and location you are targeting. Once you have the structure set up, you will need to get traffic to your video via paid ads, seo, social signals, backlinks, etc... If you are hosting on youtube, you are going to want to focus on the title and description that you use as well as the tags that you apply for the video. You also want to make sure that the file information for the video reflects the subject of the video. Once on youtube, share on social networks, on your website, and reach out to related blogs and websites and ask them to review your video, and if they like share on their site.
