Yes, the quarantine has hurt my business. I am a jewelry designer and with people being laid off and also people wanting to see my pieces in person, it's making it very hard. One of the biggest ways people buy from me is through social media and with no one really as interested in social media unless it's about the virus, people are not tuning in. It's interesting; I noticed that more people look at my page when they are at work as opposed to when they are now home. I receive more likes and more people wanting to buy. Plus, juried artisan events have cancelled making it impossible for me to make money. It's unfortunate and I am a little scared.
Yes. We do have holiday events, etc. I have a studio in my home so it doesn't help my business, but I do have a holiday show every year and invite fellow neighbors in my community.

I like to expand and explore other mediums and one day make something delicate and the next, make something that is larger, vibrant and a true statement piece. I become bored and challenge myself to always top the last piece I created.
