About Us

I help people sleep better at night. How would it feel to have money set aside to pay for all those budget busters that come out of nowhere every month? Would you like to know how to do that? If so, and if you're reading this, then here's my challenge to you - are you interested in change, or are you committed to change? Stephen Covey says: "You have to decide what your highest priorities are and have the courage - pleasantly, smilingly, unapologetically - to say no to other things. And the way you do that is by having a bigger 'yes' burning inside you."

You are deciding how much you spend in a category before you actually spend it, before it becomes an expense. There's no guessing if money will be there or not. An audit, which is an excellent tool, is generally afer the fact. That's accounting. Reactive.  Upshot? Budget = more control over your money. That's my experience personally and professionally. Two thoughts:   Know your budget! Just because a lender approves you for $YXZ amount doesn't mean it will fit your monthly budget. Best practice? Just because a lender approves you for $YXZ amount doesn't mean it will fit your monthly budget. Best practice? Your mortgage payment should not be more than 25% of your take-home pay. You want your house to be a blessing, not a financial burden. Agree that liens are a big problem when trying to close for a refinance, new (to you) home purchase, etc.  As a tax resolution specialist I come across this all the time, and  help expedite the process in getting IRS liens subordinated. Best practice? Search the county website under Federal Tax Lien for the home you're interested in buying. Mostly this is free. You might have to spend 30 minutes digging to find out if a lien is in place, but what a lot of headaches you can avoid by knowing this information up front.
