About Us

We guide people and organizations to their next best step toward growth and sustainability. We do this by designing and delivering experience-based resources and programs.

IntoWisdom Group offers professional and organizational consulting services to identify and address your specific needs. With experience successfully implementing a variety of tools and models, you can be sure our services will meet your needs.

How We Got Started

While designing and delivering experiences and resources for the company I was working for, I was getting requests to help other professionals and organizations create their own programs. I started working with outside businesses in other industries as a consultant. Eventually, I started my own business to work with individuals and organizations looking for clarity on what's next and helping them find and take their next best step toward growth and sustainability.

They may get you through the next quarter but, without guiding principles, when confronted with challenging times, your business will enter a death spiral.  To be sustainable you need: -- A clear reason why you exist -- To know what behaviors you want to be known for and aspire to (behavior reveals your values) --  To define core concepts (around 3) that will guide your decisionmaking -- Choose your immediate focus -What's most important right now (6 months)

Check out Susan Cain’s Book and TED Talk on introversion. Tim Farris also did a wonderful interview with her. She can help you gain a better understanding of what introversion is and how it is different from being shy.  If your real stuggle is with introversion your issue is managing your energy and stimulation. If you can anticipate the drain interacting with people can have our you, you can plan for recovery.  If you struggle with shyness it’s more about not being socially accepted and you can look into ways to manage your fear.  These are two very different issues that can be dealt with in different ways. Knowing which competencies to work on can help you become better at sales and consulting.

In the coaching/consulting world, "A rising tide" truly, "lifts all ships." I want people to know that quality coaching/consulting gets results. If people have a good experience with an interaction it lends credibility to the industry. There are several people and organizations I trust and promote or offer as options to my clients if I feel their is a better fit. Of course, there are many more practitioners I cannot and will not promote. (for the same reason)

Start-ups and entrepreneurs may know the industry, their product and finance (maybe) but many start-ups fail because they don't set themselves up to be a going concern and don't know how to transition, individually and organizationally, into an ongoing operation. This is where a good coach/consultant can set you up for long-term success. In the urgency to stay afloat, we often forget the importance of staying alive.
