How We Got Started
Preparing taxes started over 25 years ago. Since then, I have obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, a Master's Degree in Professional Accountantcy, and the designation of CPA, Certified Public Accountant. That designation is far more than compiling tax returns! In 2012 I took the plunge to work for myself out of my home. Overwhelmed with the "office" taking over my house, I opened shop in Three Forks in 2015. While it was a struggle in the beginning, I have partnered with MANY businesses and individuals to become their consultant, take workloads off their plates, and provide essential know-how so they can get back to doing what they are good at...'their business'.

If only I could find someone with some work ethics, we could both be on our way to retirement in the next few years!

The answer of course is....it depends. It depends on what the business needs in regard to reporting and tracking. There are many solutions available and no one size fits all. Do not assume that you need the expensive system that everyone else is using. Ask your CPA to recommend what's right for you.

Networking and word of mouth are by far the best ways to attract customers (at least in my industry). How to keep them? Never miss a deadline, never fall short of your promises, and treat each customer as if they are your number one client. We all make mistakes. So when you do, own up to it, make...
