I believe the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce has a good formula. They have member connects every month. You sit down at a table, typically 6 people. Each person gives a 2 minute commercial/snapshot of themselves and their business. A bell rings and the next person goes. After a fifteen minute break, you sit at a new table and have the opportunity to meet different business people.

I try to go to a few per year. getting out there is key!
