About Us

I advise and invest monies for individuals and small businesses. I also have an investment strategy that limits stock market exposure, especially for senior citizens that are looking to limit risk. I host a livestream television show called "It's Your Money" with Jo Ann & Martin on Knetstream TV. I have also conducted seminars specifically for women, age 60 plus, to assist and educate them on proper investment and financial planning. I enjoy the challenge of stock market investing & trading.

How We Got Started

I started AFM Investments with my partner Lou Scatigna, spending nearly 38 years in Howell, NJ before moving to Toms River in 2015.

Each person gives a 2 minute commercial/snapshot of themselves and their business. A bell rings and the next person goes. After a fifteen minute break, you sit at a new table and have the opportunity to meet different business people. I try to go to a few per year. getting out there is key! Martin

Often times, a client comes in to see me and their investments are not consistent with their risk tolerance, age , marital status and even health. This was greatly evident after the 2008 financial crisis, where I was able to safeguard so many clients from huge losses, after reallocating to lower risk strategies, particularly seniors, from stock market loss. It is also quite satisfying helping clients achieve there investment retirement goals or helping families save for college as costs are so high. Lastly, having clients make money on individual stocks that I research and advise on the purchase and sale is very uplifting.
