About Us

Arts Cubed is all about integrated solutions and has 3 main dimensions:

* Fund Development
* Communications
* Non-profit management consulting

Arts Cubed also has coordinated events in the virtual world environment of Second Life where the basic building block is . . . a cube.

We serve a niche market of individual professionals (artists, authors, therapists) and small organizations that want a one-stop solution for their various communications needs. They don't just want a web-designer but they want a website that is tied to social media, e-blasts, communications strategy and databasing solutions. They want their messaging to be consistent with their fund-development and donor stewardship solutions.

How We Got Started

Arts Cubed was founded somewhat by serendipity by experienced arts and non-profit manager, Linda Rogers during a year spent in Canada’s north. Building on non-profit and arts contacts she had made made during more than 25 years of work in Canadian and US not-for-profits she reached out to offer grant writing, communications and project planning/coordination work that could be accomplished online. Very soon, she was busier than she’d ever been as a fulltime arts worker in Toronto!

When the year in the North was over, ArtsCubed was fully launched as a multi-faceted consulting firm specializing in the needs of small arts organizations, arts education projects, individual artists/musicians and ensembles as well as other not-for-profits. Linda also reaches out to an informal work-group of arts professionals as needed..

I don't want to change the name but I need to convey that I provide design and communications services to arts and non-arts clients.

That is the working class support network that the right wing has been trying to obliterate in the USA ... and has nearly succeeded.  I agree that ethical employers have nothing to fear from unions.  In fact collective bargaining can help them.   It is good to hear others resisting the propaganda in this post.

I've worked in both worlds. My first impression of Apple computers in the 1990's was that I'd just been handed a computer with training wheels on it and there was no way to knock the damn wheels off. That impression has not changed. (more) I've worked in both worlds.
