About Us

Hello. I am the director of the Cloverdale Chiropractic and Rehab Clinic located within Rexall Pharmacy in Cloverdale Mall. I have been in practice for over 30 years. I know the profound impact of what good and proper chiropractic care can have on someones life and well being. It is so amazing to see the results. Young or old, chronic or acute. Anyone can be helped. The body is a self healing and self correcting organism...sometimes it just needs a little help to remove any interference that is not allowing it to reach its optimal potential. I use a gentle technique that is not only safe and effective - it is great for everyone. I believe that it is never too late to be helped and to make positive changes to your life.
Everyone is different and may need a combination of modalities - we have a complete full time rehabilitation clinic including physiotherapy, registered massage and acupuncture. All of our therapists are knowledgeable and caring. No one is rushed through.

Here is our mission statement:

Our mission is to help you achieve an unparalleled quality of life and well-being. We hope to accomplish this through our gentle care and highest quality service.

We strive to pass to you the knowledge that healing and the solution to most of your health and life problems, come from within.

We aim to help you discover this innate potential within you, show you how to optimize its expression and achieve outstanding quality of life in return.

How We Got Started

I was introduced to chiropractic in 1982 after I was in a serious accident and broke my back. Around the same time my mother was experiencing severe migraine headaches. She decided to try chiropractic and found incredible results and suggested I try the same. She was absolutely right (aren’t all mothers!). This began my journey into becoming a chiropractor.

Personal attention from staff, giving optimal care creates this enthusiasm.  We have an open concept office so positive experiences and results are shared with everyone. As well, our staff takes the time to sit with the patients to outline and describe in their own words their results. We share this with others on our office waiting room computer monitor or website. We prefer not to leave it with patients to do on their own when they have time.

I have had to dive into the website/social marketing world. Trial and error and costly. So my advice...dont just hand the keys to the car to an expert. Start learning the language, the system and the process. Be active, ask questions.

I would like to see more proactive measures available within the healthcare system. Its easier to stay healthy than to get healthy once it is lost. Knowing or understanding the bottom line as to how many patients you need to be seeing to break even. Avoiding giving away product and services.

Be real and genuine, keep your word, follow through, learn and study to be an expert in your field. Ask for referrals because you are good, sincere and know you can help. You want to know their strengths and weaknesses....I always like to ask - what would your friend say are your 3 best and worst qualities. What would someone who is not your friend say? What did you like best/least with your last position?  I give a scenario and ask how they would handle it. How they dress to an interview makes a statement. Hobbies, spare time activities. Always get business references. Not personal ones. And call them! You could be very surprised how they can make a difference. I had one say "I prefer not making a comment"...that spoke volumes.
