Daniel Brodsky
Criminal Defence Lawyer
I’m an experienced criminal lawyer devoted to representing clients in serious trouble who need a good lawyer to work hard, often putting in long hours trying to achieve the best possible results in complex criminal trials appeals, penal or disciplinary litigation, as well as extradition proceedings, inquests and public inquiries. Apart from that, I’m presently director emeritus of Innocence Canada, a non-profit organization that has done so much to identify and seek justice for defendants convicted of crimes they did not commit.
I am proud of my reputation and the quality of work that I strive to maintain.
Helping people in crisis and speaking out against injustice is what I have been doing for as long as I can recall and it was my hope to do it more effectively as a lawyer. So, I studied law at the University of Alberta before moving to Toronto to article with Greenspan, Rosenberg, and work with Ruby Edwardh. Today I practice in association with Lockyer, Zaduk, Zeeh and the other excellent lawyers of Barristers Chambers.
