You love your brother and your entire family. I can see how hard you are trying to make everyone happy. Is it possible that your family can recognize your brothers success. Make sure that you all show him your love and really are proud of him for his achievements. I know that it is going to be difficult for your father to admit that your brother made it on his own. It shouldn't be a competition between two businessmen from two different generation. We cannot compare the achievements of each of them because they are very unique and relevant for their times and their business. I think that both of your business heroes are heroes for their times. If you have influence over your brother, please explain to him that your dad is getting old and he needs his son to appreciate his fathers success. Also, if possible, ask your father to recognize your brother's success. Both of them are looking for the respect from the other one. Unfortunately, our parents generation believe that children should respect them and obey their parents especially the father. Younger people also need to be respected. The question is how to help the father understand that respect is mutual.
It sounds like both of them are looking for the same from the other side and they cannot hug each other and say to each other: "You Made It!!!" I am so proud of You!!!" It is so simple. And we people make things more complicated!
