Gillian Gallimore
The Healthy Feline
Hi, I’m Gillian!
I have been in the cat rescue world for over a decade. I have spent much of that time rehabilitating trapped cats in and around Toronto, Canada. Working with rescue groups and shelters, I have rehomed about a thousand cats, dogs, rabbits and birds (and some reptiles!). My two cats and greyhound are the loves of my life.
Working in the pet food industry ignited my passion for feline nutrition.
There is a real need for well-educated pet nutritionists as the pet food industry gobbles up (pun intended) our money without much oversight. How do we navigate this market while balancing our cat’s health with our budget? Trained at the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies, I can provide you with the information you need to make sound decisions for your cat’s nutritional needs. Check out our Nutrition Services.
Nutrition is only half of the feline equation. Cats get a bad wrap for behaviour problems. Litterbox issues. Scratching furniture. Biting. Aggressive play. Multi-cat drama. Incessant meowing….and others! Living with these behaviours can be very challenging. Luckily, there are solutions. With force-free and fear-free training, most, if not all, of these cats can become Healthy Felines. I am a Certified Advanced Feline Training Professional (CAFTP) and hold a certificate in Feline Inappropriate Elimination. I am well equipped to guide you through these challenging behaviours.
